There are many ways to support the mission of Eat Free Pie, even if you are not a star baker! By making a small donation to our team, you are supporting an in-house baker who will lovingly bake and donate a pie on your behalf.
This gives you the option to donate a pie (or two, or three!) without ever picking up a rolling pin - and helps us deliver on our promise to provide homemade pies to our recipients in Beaverdale.
The donations we receive are used to pay for high quality, locally sourced ingredients, as well as the industrial kitchen space we've rented for this effort.
We work with a team of in-house bakers who have graciously volunteered their time and skills to bake pies for Eat Free Pie in the industrial kitchen space we've rented for this effort. Your donations pay for the ingredients and operating costs associated with choreographing an event of this complexity.
We leverage these in-house bakers to ensure that no pie request goes unfulfilled. We're proud to say that to-date, every person who has ever requested a free pie from our organization has received one - and we intend to keep it that way. These volunteer bakers help us close the delta between requested pies and donated pies; we couldn't do it without them!
